Join Our Christ-Based Recovery Group in Butler, MO

If you are searching for a recovery support group in Bates County, MO, you have found it! If you have been court ordered to attend recovery meetings, we can sign your papers for treatment court.

Abundant Life Recovery is a group of men and women who meet weekly at the Ohio Street United Methodist Church at 6:00 P.M on Saturday. This group provides Christ based recovery to addicts of all types, especially drug and alcohol addition. During this hour we offer an open discussion followed by a Bible based lesson centered on recovery. We are a recovery group that stresses anonymity. The purpose of anonymity is to protect members’ identities so they can feel safe sharing their stories and experiences without fear of judgment or retaliation.

We focus on sharing personal experience, strength, and hope with the group instead of lecturing about addiction recovery topics. Our group uses The Life Recovery Bible. It follows the same 12-step recovery model as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. It was created by two of today’s leading recovery experts, David Stoop, Ph.D., and Stephen Arterburn, M.Ed., to lead readers to the source of true healing―God himself.

If you are ready to take the first step towards recovery, contact Amada Montgomery at 660-464-9526 or Gordon Sixkiller at 660-464-4476 today.
